La Iglesia de San Atanasio, en La Villa de Los Santos, es un templo histórico con elementos mudéjares y un altar barroco. Es Patrimonio Histórico Nacional y desempeñó un papel importante en la evangelización de la región de Azuero.
Es el lugar en donde se celebra con mayor vistosidad la festividad del Corpus Cristi, creando una manifestación folklórica que involucra danzas y la elaboración de gigantescas alfombras de sal.
